News has come after a Boeing 737 operated by Cubana has crashed shortly after take-off in Havana, Cuba. The aircraft was a wet-lease Boeing 737-400, built in 1992, was leased from an Italian airline, was taking off at Havana Jose Marti International Airport en route to Cayo Coco and had 104 passengers aboard when it 'exploded' just right of rwy 24/left of 06. It is not known exactly how it crashed. Witnesses say it sunk and then exploded but there are many other possible causes so we will have to wait and see. check back for updates.
